At LogicMonitor, we have a performance culture that's aligned to our company values. Two of the most important are "better every day" and "one team." Performance isn't something we check once a year; it's part of how we work.

We've built a culture of feedback so employees always know where they stand, can keep getting better every day and thrive as one team. We do quarterly check-ins on progress, development and alignment, and a formal annual review to look back holistically.

Peer input is included when it adds perspective. That review includes an employee self-assessment, manager evaluation and always a live conversation to align on strengths, opportunities and next steps.

We use our company V2M2 framework: vision, values, methods and measures so every employee can see how their work connects to the bigger strategy. Each employee has their own V2M2 that ladders up to their function, which then rolls into the company-level V2M2.

We're also a pay-for-performance culture. High performers earn differentiated rewards and opportunities, while employees who are still developing get clear coaching and support. That balance keeps people focused, motivated and aligned as one team.

We see lots of momentum! Reviews give people clarity and direction. We also see it in the data, as we consistently earn high ESAT scores on management, reflecting the trust employees have in their managers and in the process.

We're strong proponents of internal mobility, and reviews often spark conversations that lead employees to take on new roles and opportunities within the company.

My favorite thing is definitely the people and the culture. One of the coolest things is that it's from the top down. Our CEO and the rest of the executive leadership exude what it means to be an LM employee.

I spend my day supporting, coaching and developing my reps. A majority of my time is spent in 1x1s with them where we talk through their specific and catered path to promotion. I am constantly striving to make sure my reps have all of the training and support that they need to effectively run their business and feel good about doing it.

I lead the marketing organization for a fast-growing SaaS company delivering hybrid observability powered by AI. LogicMonitor acts as a strategic partner to chief information officers, providing an intelligent, data-first platform that surfaces the metrics that matter, blending the hybrid world of physical devices with digital interactions to create extraordinary employee and customer experiences and business outcomes.

This ensures our customers' systems are always up and running to deliver to their customers. A typical day starts with a workout before I hit the road. Then I stop by Black Rock Coffee on my way to San Jacinto Tower where I enjoy my coffee while taking in the breathtaking views of Lady Bird Lake.

On any given day, I may host a town hall, meet with our Austin-based marketing team or join calls with our global colleagues to discuss projects and initiatives. We often welcome customers and partners to our executive meeting space, where I hear directly from them about how they use LogicMonitor.

The day ends with an executive meeting to talk strategy and global operations. Fun fact: our C-suite is 60 percent female — a first in my 26-year tech career.

My career spans many roles and regions. It all started in Vancouver, Canada — I'm a proud Canadian — with an internship at Seagate Software while pursuing a Business Administration degree. That first taste of the tech industry had me hooked on marketing and technology from day one.

I moved to New York City, experienced three acquisitions with Crystal Decisions, Business Objects and SAP. Then leveled up in seniority, leading global teams and traveling around the world. After 13 years, I landed at Qlik, a business intelligence and analytics leader, which took me to Silicon Valley.

The chance to work in the tech epicenter was a dream come true. My journey continued at Splunk, where I played a role in building the brand and team. Then came Datto, my first chief marketing officer role, steering the global marketing team for a $650 million ARR software powerhouse.

Datto brought me to Austin in 2022, and I joined LogicMonitor in May of this year. During my career I've developed my "superpowers" — communicating, connecting and engaging with people. I thrive on working with my teams, customers, partners and the community to link strategy to execution while unlocking the potential to deliver results in an orchestrated way.

As the global marketing team leader, my primary objectives are to elevate LogicMonitor's brand presence and drive increased interest and demand for our hybrid observability solution. We have several exciting projects underway, including redesigning our website, showcasing more of our incredible customer success stories and continuing to deliver exceptional local events while strengthening our partner engagements.

Beyond our digital presence, we're revitalizing our Austin office with a fresh design. We hope this update will help attract and retain top talent in the Austin area, while also bringing our bright and bold brand to life in a tangible way. I'm excited about the opportunity to further invest in our already inspiring workspace that reflects the innovative spirit of LogicMonitor and the vibrant energy of Austin.

We make it a core part of how we build. The Edwin AI team runs a continuous discovery loop where engineers evaluate new models, agent frameworks and tooling every week. We prototype fast, measure against real customer workflows and ship only what outperforms our current baselines on latency, accuracy, cost and safety.

Everyone contributes to our internal tech radar to track shifts in LLM capabilities, multimodal models, evaluation methods and agent orchestration patterns. Strong foundations in observability, evaluation harnesses and safety let us explore without risking product stability.

Most importantly, we learn in the open. Engineers demo experiments weekly, share wins and failures and influence the roadmap. Customer feedback from Edwin AI pilots grounds our choices so we focus on tech that solves real problems, not hype.

This mix of autonomy, fast cycles and real impact keeps us on the cutting edge of AI. Our team is involved in various industry events and meet-ups as participants and speakers. We also conduct internal hackathons to bring new, innovative ideas to life.

Some team members even teach AI-related college courses and learn from other academic and industry experts.

Our data science team is pushing the boundaries of AI ops by applying advanced data science to real-world infrastructure challenges. This year, we developed vector embedding models for alert data that fundamentally improve how incidents are detected and understood in real time.

These models employ state-of-the-art scientific methods to automatically group related alerts, strengthening the performance and accuracy of our correlation engine. What makes this especially impactful is that the models learn directly from each customer's environment.

This generates highly tailored insights previously unattainable with static rules or generic AI, delivering earlier signal discovery, richer context and faster paths from insight to action. This novel approach establishes the foundation for future predictive capabilities.

By recognizing emerging alert patterns, the platform can anticipate what is likely to happen next and empower teams to resolve issues before they escalate into major incidents. This is a substantial leap forward in operational intelligence and incident prevention and is exemplary of our commitment to push the boundaries of AIOps and deliver transformative customer value.

Our culture is built on rapid experimentation and continuous learning from real-world behavior. We run small, controlled tests often, from early root-cause reasoning prototypes to low-risk remediation attempts in sandboxed environments. Each run generates practical lessons, like how to tune context windows and better combine signals from logs, metrics and topology.

We validate ideas through structured offline evaluation, iterating on prompts, comparing before-and-after results and incorporating feedback from customers and domain experts. We invest heavily in tooling that accelerates prototyping and makes results visible to everyone.

Tools like promptfoo, Lovable and Langfuse give shared clarity into what is working and why, encouraging broad participation in experimentation. Cross-functional reviews are routine. Product, engineering and customer teams analyze real incident transcripts to improve correlation speed, reasoning clarity and explanation quality.

We also protect time for deeper technical exploration. The focus is on safe, lightweight experimentation that keeps the culture curious, fast-moving and focused on steadily increasing Edwin's intelligence and reliability.
