AILayer addresses a variety of use cases by combining blockchain scalability with AI-powered applications:

1. Bitcoin Layer 2 Scalability: AILayer enhances Bitcoin’s scalability and transaction speed by supporting asset issuance and efficient asset transfer between Layer 1 and Layer 2 through a bridging mechanism that uses Schnorr and threshold signatures for security.

2. AI Subnets for Decentralised AI Services: The platform features AI-specific subnets dedicated to tasks such as NLP and CV, enabling decentralised training and evaluation of AI models. Subnets operate independently and are governed by an AI Protocol Controller.

3. Cross-Chain Interoperability: AILayer allows users to bridge BTC and BRC-20 tokens (e.g., $ORDI, $SATS, $RATS) into the AILayer ecosystem. Staking these assets can generate points, rewards, or additional staking benefits.

4. Staking and Rewards: Users can stake supported assets like BTC, USDT, USDC, $AINN, $ORDI, and others, earning staking points that can be converted into rewards. The system incentivises participation through invitation-based bonuses and Buff Cards, which increase staking efficiency.

5. Token Issuance: AILayer enables the creation of custom tokens within its ecosystem, similar to ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum, facilitating diverse applications like decentralised finance (DeFi) and decentralised AI.

6. Economic and Governance Features: The staking points earned on AILayer can be enhanced through team participation, invitation bonuses, and Buff Cards, while also fostering collaboration within the ecosystem. Points can be converted into $ANVM tokens, which appear to be one of the project’s reward mechanisms.
