About xCREDI
xCREDI (XCREDI) is a token in the Credefi ecosystem that users receive by depositing CREDI into Credefi’s Security Module. It is used for governance participation, providing liquidity in pools that include xCREDI and staking programmes that may include revenue sharing and unstake unlocking rules. Credefi also describes mechanisms where part of platform revenues is allocated to buybacks and liquidity provision linked to xCREDI. The token is issued by the Credefi team, founded by Ivo Grigorov and Valentin Dimitrov.
xCREDI is used within Credefi for:
- Participating in governance linked to the Credefi ecosystem.
- Providing liquidity in decentralised exchange pools that include xCREDI.
- Taking part in staking programmes that may relate to governance and revenue sharing, including rules such as an unlocking period after initiating an unstake.
- Supporting buyback and liquidity provision mechanisms where a portion of platform revenues is allocated to buybacks and liquidity support linked to xCREDI.
