About Vigi
VIGI is an ERC-20 token used in Syndicate of Vigilantes, a free-to-play mobile AR and GPS-located FPS game where players complete location-based missions, collect AR items and loot crates and can compete or form clans. VIGI is intended to pay for in-game items, support trading of NFT game assets in the in-game marketplace, back Play-to-Own reward distribution and enable governance votes on game content and features. It is also the required payment token for purchasing Node NFTs tied to a global grid with Country, State and City layers. The project states token economics may include burning or reward emissions and that in-game sales and fees can fund rewards, staking and liquidity incentives.
- In-game payments: Buying in-game items such as skins, upgrades and other enhancements through the app.
- Marketplace trading (Black Market): Buying, selling and trading in-game digital assets (NFTs) with fees applied to marketplace transactions.
- Play-to-Own rewards: Supporting gameplay-linked incentives where players can earn rewards through participation and performance.
- Governance voting: Voting on proposals that influence game content and direction, including skins, items and gameplay features.
- Node NFT purchases: Buying Node NFTs linked to geographic layers (Country, State and City) with VIGI used as the required payment token.
- Supply mechanics: The project states token economics can include token burning or additional reward emissions to manage circulating supply.
- Ecosystem incentives: The project states that token flows from in-game sales, trading fees and other in-game transactions fund rewards, staking and liquidity incentives.
Syndicate of Vigilantes was founded by the following team members:
- Hans Horsten - Founder and CEO. Entrepreneurial founder focused on building businesses with a creative direction. The project material states he has 10+ years’ experience in business building and international consultancy, plus web development and IT, with 20+ years in sales-driven roles including at ExxonMobil and in the pharmaceutical and IT sectors.
- Cas Eykman - Co-Founder and COO. The project material states he has 10+ years’ experience across sales and finance roles in IT, media and institutional leasehold sectors. He has been active in crypto since 2013 and has contributed to multiple crypto start-ups in different capacities.
