About Binary Coin
BNRY is the utility token of The Binary Holdings, a Layer 2 blockchain built using Optimistic Rollups and designed for telecommunications platforms. It is used for network fees, payments, staking, incentive mechanisms and governance within the TBH ecosystem. Governance follows a phased model that transitions from centralised oversight to token-holder participation, with voting power linked to staked or locked BNRY.
- Network fees: BNRY is used to pay gas and other transaction-related fees on the network. - Payments and settlements: It can be used to settle payments for goods and services within applications and services connected to the TBH ecosystem. Pricing may be displayed in USD, with the corresponding BNRY amount calculated at the point of transaction. - Staking: BNRY can be locked to participate in staking mechanisms that provide rewards and access to certain ecosystem benefits.
