About Zano
Zano (ZANO) is a privacy-focused cryptocurrency that uses a hybrid PoW/PoS consensus mechanism to enhance security. It offers secure and anonymous transactions, including features such as escrow services to facilitate payments without needing a trusted third party, aliases for simplified transactions, multi-signature support for added security, and encrypted attachments for including arbitrary data in transactions. Zano was created by Andrey N. Sabelnikov and Pavel Nikienkov.
Zano (ZANO) is designed for secure, private, and anonymous transactions. It combines PoW and PoS to prevent double-spend attacks and enhance network security. The platform facilitates secure, anonymous payments between parties without needing a trusted third party by using an escrow service, which requires additional deposits to discourage malicious behaviour and ensures both participants fulfil their part of the agreement. Users can register human-readable names associated with their payment addresses to simplify transactions. The platform supports transactions that require multiple signatures to be completed, adding an extra layer of security. Additionally, Zano enables the inclusion of arbitrary data in transactions, which can be encrypted and stored temporarily or permanently.
Zano (ZANO) was created by Andrey N. Sabelnikov and Pavel Nikienkov. Andrey Sabelnikov graduated from Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation as a system programming engineer and spent eight years in antivirus development. He became the lead developer for CryptoNote. Pavel Nikienkov has a background in project management and product ownership, with significant experience in launching and maintaining software products.
