The XDEFI token facilitates transaction fees across chains, governance participation, and incorporates a deflationary mechanism. Founded by Emile Dubié in 2020, XDEFI Wallet is designed to help users manage multiple digital assets and access DeFi features across blockchains.
The XDEFI token is a utility token within the XDEFI Wallet ecosystem, primarily used to cover network transaction fees across supported blockchains. This enables users to conduct transactions on different chains without needing to hold the native token for each network. XDEFI also includes governance features, allowing token holders to participate in voting on certain changes or developments within the ecosystem. Additionally, a deflationary mechanism is applied to the token’s supply, with a portion of revenue from the wallet allocated to regular buybacks and burns of XDEFI, which aims to gradually reduce the token’s circulating supply.
XDEFI Wallet was launched in 2020 by Emile Dubié, with investment support from Mechanism Capital, Delphi Digital, and Morningstar Ventures.
