About Whiteheart
Whiteheart is an on-chain hedging protocol built on top of the Hegic protocol 2. The core part of the hedging protocol is a new financial primitive called hedge contract. Hedge contract is a system of Ethereum smart contracts that can automatically conduct the process of hedging users' holdings' market value.
Although 'WHITE' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Whiteheart token's smart contract, it is in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'WHITEHEART' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
