Holoworld AI

HOLO is the native asset for coordination and exchange across the Holoworld ecosystem and agent marketplace. Its roles include:

• Staking and participation: align with the network, earn rewards and gain access to new launches via HoloLaunch.
• Foundation governance: propose and vote on programmes, partnerships and protocol changes.
• Creator incentives and rewards: fund community and creator initiatives tied to agent activity.
• Network currency: serve as the primary medium of exchange across the open MCP network.

Within the wider product suite, Holo Credits are in-app compute units that cover LLM calls, rendering and storage for video, voice and images. Credits can be topped up via credit packs inside Ava Studio; free starter credits are available on account creation, and generated elements (scenes, TTS, images, SFX) consume credits according to published per-unit rates. The Studio API enables programmatic video rendering with scene lists, captions, Live2D avatar placement and status polling.

Holoworld is built by Hologram Labs, co-founded by Tong Pow (CEO) and Hongzi Mao (CTO).

• Tong Pow (CEO) – product engineering background (including roles at 0x Labs), member of South Park Commons, with earlier experience at Bright Machines and Amazon Web Services; bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
• Hongzi Mao (CTO) – PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT; research in reinforcement learning and systems/video ML; prior research experience at MIT and work associated with organisations such as DeepMind.
