Although 'ESP' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Espers Token's smart contract, it is also in use by another asset with a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. To avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'ESPERS' has been adopted for this token. This designation ensures that assets are distinctly identified.
Espers is a Proof of Work/Proof of Stake cryptocurrency based on gthe HMQ1725 (Highly Modified Quark 17 algorithms 25 hash rounds). The Espers blockchain is based on Bitcoin version 0.10+ with a blackcoin reference implmentation for the PoS feature.
