ZAP TOKEN

ZAP is an ERC20 token that serves as currency on Zap's ecosystem. In order to create an oracle or make queries for data, both providers and subscribers must bond their ZAP, locking it up in an individual oracle.

Although 'ZAP' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the ZAP Token's smart contract, it is also in use by another asset with a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. To avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'ZAPTOKEN' has been adopted for this token. This designation ensures that assets are distinctly identified.
