ENS Token Drops 40% While Domain Registrations Hit All-Time Highs
Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a decentralized naming protocol that maps human-readable .eth names to 42-character Ethereum addresses, governed by a DAO treasury funded through registration and renewal fees. The ENS token fell roughly 57% over three months to around $5.94 in late April 2026, near multi-year lows, even as .eth domain registrations and renewals trended toward all-time highs. The decline was deepened by Coinbase suspending ENS perpetuals in late April and a social engineering attack that briefly hijacked the eth.limo gateway through registrar easyDNS. Analysts tracked by Cryptopolitan project ENS topping out near $16.75 in 2026 and as high as $46.12 by 2029. The protocol's revenue model and rising usage suggest a disconnect between token price and network fundamentals.
GAS Coin Price Prediction Hinges On Network Math
Gas (GAS) is the utility token of the Neo blockchain, currently trading near $1.67 with a market cap of about $109 million, and any honest GAS coin price prediction starts with the math of network burn versus emission. The token sits 98.3% below its January 2018 all-time high of $97.49, but a fresh wave of catalysts is in motion: Kraken activated NEO and GAS spot trading on May 8, 2026; Neo X went live on LayerZero last month with access to 170-plus chains; the Council just approved a five-fold throughput boost via three-second block times. Against that runs an unresolved Foundation feud between co-founders Da Hongfei and Erik Zhang over treasury control and financial disclosure. Whether GAS can climb anywhere near a stretch $45 target by December depends less on listing pumps and more on whether Gorgon hard fork fee cuts and developer activity drive enough on-chain volume for burns to start mattering.
Morpho Hit Seven Billion TVL Without A Press Tour
Morpho (MORPHO) is a permissionless decentralized lending protocol that splits onchain credit into two layers: Morpho Blue, an immutable smart contract for isolated lending markets, and Morpho Vaults, where curators allocate deposits across those markets. Morpho hit $7.2 billion in TVL in early May 2026, making it the second-largest DeFi lending protocol behind Aave. MORPHO trades at $1.98, 52% below its January 2025 ATH of $4.17. Annualized fees reached $174.6M with zero distributed to token holders to date. Apollo Global Management ($940B AUM) signed a February 2026 cooperation agreement to acquire up to 90M MORPHO over 48 months. Coinbase routed $2.17B+ in USDC through Morpho before launching the same product in the UK in April 2026. The April 18 KelpDAO bridge exploit drained Aave for ~$200M in bad debt; Morpho's exposure was $1M across two isolated markets. The thesis: Morpho built distribution scale by being inconspicuous infrastructure rather than chasing retail noise.
