Act I The AI Prophecy

ACT serves as a funding and governance mechanism for initiatives aligned with advancing AI literacy and innovation. Its use cases include:

1. AI Education and Awareness: ACT resources aim to improve understanding of AI among diverse audiences, promoting discussions about its potential and risks.
2. Decentralised Governance: Post-Amp's exit, ACT became fully community-driven, allowing members to decide collectively on the project’s trajectory and resource allocation.
3. Funding AI Projects: ACT supports research and development initiatives, fostering innovation and ethical advancements in AI.
4. Promoting Ethical AI Development: The community focuses on creating frameworks that ensure AI technologies are inclusive, transparent, and beneficial.

ACT empowers individuals to participate actively in the crypto-AI ecosystem while supporting the creation of open educational resources and tools for the public.

Act I was initially co-founded by AmplifiedAmp (Amp), who envisioned a decentralised community-driven ecosystem for AI research and education. However, challenges arose when Amp’s actions - including the sale of all their $ACT holdings - were perceived as prioritising personal financial gain over the community’s interests.

This controversial event resulted in Amp’s departure, leaving the project entirely in the hands of its community. Despite the disruption, the $ACT community demonstrated resilience, leveraging the $1 million in remaining funding to revitalise the project and take full control of its operations.

Since then, ACT has flourished as a collaborative initiative, with members stepping into leadership roles to rebuild trust, redefine its goals, and advance its mission of democratising AI.
