LOT is used for in-platform payments and for staking-based participation.

Payments for access and features

• Pay-to-See: a one-time payment in LOT to unlock and view another user’s trading portfolio.
• Pay-to-Follow: a recurring LOT fee to subscribe to another user’s portfolio visibility.
• Copy Trading: fees to copy “Copy Leaders”, with discounts available when paying fees in LOT.
• LOT Beacon: LOT fees to access strategy signals and apply them manually or automatically across centralised exchanges (CEX) and decentralised exchanges (DEX).

Staking and community participation

• Stake-to-Earn: lock LOT to receive rewards, with longer lock-ups linked to higher APY (annual percentage yield).
• Social Staking: combines Proof of Stake (PoS) and Proof of Community (PoC). Users lock LOT to obtain Mining Power (MP) which determines reward eligibility. Rewards come from a mining pool, with 40% allocated to PoS and 60% to PoC and a declining emission schedule. PoC rewards are distributed to the top 12 communities based on collective voting power tied to activity, leadership and participation.

Other utilities

• Participation rewards: events and active participation can earn LOT rewards.
• Premium access: unlock additional platform features by holding or paying with LOT.
• Beacon incentives: strategy access is paid in LOT and contributors (for example data providers or community analysts) can receive a share of rewards via an on-chain distribution mechanism.
