Launch Coin on Believe (LAUNCHCOIN) powers Believe, a decentralised SocialFi token launchpad on Solana. Originally launched as PASTERNAK and rebranded in April 2025, the platform enables token creation via X posts, bonding-curve dynamics, and creator monetisation. LAUNCHCOIN supports incentives and future governance, while remaining optional for token creation.
LAUNCHCOIN is the ecosystem token for the Believe platform. While it is not required to create or trade tokens, it serves multiple roles in the system:
- Reward Distribution: LAUNCHCOIN is used to reward creators, community participants, and scouts who contribute to the ecosystem’s growth.
- Governance: Future roadmap plans include using LAUNCHCOIN for on-chain governance - such as determining platform parameters, pool mechanics, and protocol fees.
- Creator Payouts: Earnings from token graduations are denominated in part in LAUNCHCOIN and distributed via linked accounts.
- SocialFi Utility: LAUNCHCOIN plays a role in staking, community features, and in-platform user progression, although none of these are mandatory for core platform use.
- Ben Pasternak is the founder of Believe and creator of the original PASTERNAK token, which later evolved into LAUNCHCOIN.
