The central technology of the CEJI project is centred around the development of facilities, known as CEP facilities. These facilities are capable of processing a wide range of combustible wastes and converting them into various forms of energy, including oil, gas, hydrogen, and electricity. A key feature of these facilities is their environmentally friendly design, ensuring that the production of energy does not involve the release of greenhouse gases.

The role of the CEJI token within the project's ecosystem is significant. It is employed as a form of currency for several key purposes. These include the construction of CEP facilities worldwide, the acquisition of catalysts essential for the operation of these facilities, aiding in the distribution of renewable energy produced by the facilities, and enabling a sharing of profits through the issue and staking of NFTs linked to these facilities.

The initiative was co-founded by Kim Sunghyun and Kim KangLyen. Kim Sunghyun brings a wealth of experience in corporate management consulting, with a particular focus on financing and marketing strategy planning. Kim KangLyen is credited with the invention of the CEP Plant technology and continues to be involved in the development of new plant models.

The project is regarded as a potential solution for the pressing issues of global warming and carbon emissions, utilising blockchain technology to facilitate worldwide usage and participation in the CEP technology.
