Caduceus Protocol

CMPV2 is the native token of the Caduceus Protocol ecosystem. It plays a central role in facilitating network operations and supporting decentralised applications and services. The token’s main functions include:

• Transaction Fees: Used to pay for transactions and smart contract execution across the network.
• Governance: Enables token holders to participate in on-chain governance, including protocol upgrades, community proposals, and funding allocations.
• Access to Network Services: Required for services such as decentralised edge rendering, distributed storage, and cloud computing features.
• Incentives: Distributed to participants who contribute to the network by operating nodes, providing storage, or offering decentralised rendering services. This incentivises ongoing participation and ensures network stability and security.

Although 'CAD' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Caduceus Protocol token's smart contract, it is in use by the fiat currency Canadian Dollar (CAD). Due to this association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'CMPV2' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
