Staked TRX

STRX primarily serves several purposes:

Liquidity Provision: Users can use STRX to provide liquidity in decentralised finance (DeFi) applications without having to unstake their TRX, thus allowing them to earn additional yields.

Staking Rewards: STRX holders continue to earn staking rewards from the TRON network as their underlying TRX remains staked.

DeFi Participation: STRX can be used in various DeFi protocols for activities such as lending, borrowing, and trading, enabling users to leverage their staked assets across multiple platforms.

Collateral: STRX can be used as collateral in DeFi platforms, allowing users to secure loans or participate in other financial activities.

Although 'STRX' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Staked TRX Token's smart contract, it is already in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this pre-existing association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'TRXS' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
