About Trippki
Trippki is a new hotel booking channel and decentralized travel rewards platform. In the Trippki model, guests are rewarded for completing their stay with the TRIP token, an ERC20 token based on the Ethereum blockchain. TRIP tokens have external value, are transferrable and can be exchanged for goods and services at hotels in the Trippki network. TRIP is also used in the platform as a payment method along with other crypto and fiat currencies. Hotels will benefit from much lower channel costs and will be able to offer bespoke reputation based deals to loyal customers.
Although 'TRIP' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Trippki Token's smart contract, it is already in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this pre-existing association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'TRIPPKI' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
