About Supra
Supra (SUPRA) is a Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem that integrates multiple protocols to enhance interoperability and decentralisation. The SUPRA token is used for gas fees, staking, accessing services, and governance within the network. The project is developed by the Entropy Foundation's team of researchers and developers.
The SUPRA token serves multiple functions within the Supra ecosystem:
- Gas Fees: SUPRA is utilised as the primary gas token for transactions and interactions within the Supra Layer-1 network. Staking & Network Security: Token holders can stake SUPRA to help secure the network, with node operators required to stake 55 million SUPRA to run a node, thereby providing economic security. Access to Services: SUPRA tokens are used to access native services such as real-time data from Supra’s oracles, cross-chain communication, and automation. * Governance: SUPRA may facilitate user participation in network governance, allowing holders to have a voice in the network's future decisions.
Supra is developed by a team of researchers and developers focused on advancing blockchain technology. The project is backed by the Entropy Foundation, based in Switzerland.
