About Stargate Finance
Stargate is an Omnichain DeFi platform with STG as its native token. It's the first to solve the bridging trilemma, providing Instant Guaranteed Finality, Native Assets, and Unified Liquidity. Stargate enables seamless cross-chain liquidity transfers and offers a governance token, veSTG, for STG token holders. The STG token allocation over three years is 17.5% for core contributors and investors each, with 65% for the community. The community share is split among launch, auction buyers, a Curve.fi pool, a post-launch bonding curve, emissions, and various DEXs. The remainder supports future community initiatives. Co-founded by Liat Sheba, Stargate is committed to facilitating single-transaction cross-chain liquidity transfers.
Stargate Finance offers a solution for seamless cross-chain liquidity transfers. This feature allows both users and decentralized applications (dApps) to transfer native assets cross-chain while tapping into the unified liquidity pools of the protocol with immediate guaranteed finality. STG token holders can stake their tokens to receive veSTG, thereby participating in Stargate's governance.
The initial three-year STG token allocation is strategically divided into 17.50% each for core contributors and investors, and a substantial 65.00% for the community. This allocation is aimed at realizing the protocol's vision. The community's portion is subdivided among the launch (15%), launch auction purchasers (10%), a pool on Curve.fi (5%), a bonding curve post-launch (15.95%), an initial emissions program (2.11%), and DEXs on multiple platforms (up to 1.55%). The remaining 30.39% is reserved for future community initiatives, ensuring the long-term success of Stargate.
