About Rainbow

Rainbow (RNBW) is an ERC-20 token on Base associated with the Rainbow wallet project. It is used in a share-based staking system where exit fees from unstaking remain in the pool, which can increase the value per share. It is also used for wallet-linked cashback allocations to active stakers via signed claims credited as additional shares. Rainbow was founded in 2019 by Christian Baroni, Jin Chung and Michael Demarais.

RNBW is used in a staking system. When users stake RNBW, they receive pool shares rather than a 1:1 staked token balance. The value per share can increase over time because unstaking applies an exit fee that remains in the pool.

RNBW is also used for wallet-linked cashback allocations to active stakers. Cashback is distributed using signed claims and is credited by minting additional pool shares to eligible stakers.

Rainbow (the project behind the Rainbow wallet, which RNBW is associated with) was founded in 2019 by Christian Baroni, Jin Chung and Michael Demarais.
