About Reality Metaverse
Reality Metaverse is a blockchain project developed by Lucid Sight that links real-world locations to NFTs used in mobile games. Players can collect, upgrade, and trade landmarks while earning rewards through gameplay. The RMV token supports transactions, rewards, governance, and marketplace activity, acting as the economic engine of the platform. By merging a global database of locations with blockchain infrastructure, the project creates a gamified bridge between the physical and digital worlds.
RMV is the utility and governance token of the Reality Metaverse ecosystem. It serves several key functions:
- Payment for in-game purchases and NFT upgrades. - Reward distribution to players who engage in games and activities. - Governance rights allowing token holders to influence future platform development and game features. - Economic utility across the Reality NFT marketplace, where RMV is used to buy, sell, and trade tokenised landmarks. RMV integrates directly with the game loop, ensuring that activity in the ecosystem translates into demand and circulation of the token. The token also acts as a bridge between players and developers, as part of its governance and incentive design.
Reality Metaverse was founded by the team behind Lucid Sight, a Los Angeles-based game development studio. Lucid Sight has a background in building blockchain-powered games and digital asset platforms. Its experience includes prior projects such as MLB Champions and Crypto Space Commander, both of which combined gaming with NFT-based ownership. With Reality Metaverse, the team expands its vision by mapping the real world into a gamified NFT ecosystem.
The Reality NFT platform integrates a geospatial database with blockchain smart contracts. Each location-based NFT is linked to real-world coordinates and metadata. Ownership and transactions are recorded on chain, while the metadata supports its integration into mobile gaming applications. Games built on the platform use NFTs as upgradeable and interactive items. The whitepaper’s diagram on page 12 shows how RMV flows through the ecosystem: players acquire NFTs, spend RMV on upgrades, earn rewards through gameplay, and trade NFTs on the marketplace. This closed loop reinforces demand for RMV while maintaining a connection to real-world places. The mobile game layer serves as the main user interface, but the NFTs retain open-market value outside the game, providing liquidity and interoperability. The architecture is designed to scale globally, allowing new landmarks and locations to be added as the ecosystem grows.
