OMNIX

Omni X is a decentralised omnichain infrastructure protocol built to enable NFT minting, bridging, and interoperability across multiple blockchain networks. Initially developed as the first omnichain NFT launchpad, the platform has expanded into a cross-chain application layer. It operates natively on HyperCore and is built using LayerZero technology for messaging and interoperability.

Omni X includes tools for:

• ONFT minting and transfers across over 40 EVM chains
• Decentralised bridging interface where gas can be paid by the receiving party
• Omni X DVN (Decentralised Verifier Network), a LayerZero v2-compatible validator system

Its early use cases focused on enabling curated NFT drops with omnichain functionality and frictionless cross-chain NFT bridging.

OMNIX is the native token of the Omni X platform. It serves several on-chain functions:

• Fee payment for platform services, such as minting and bridging ONFTs
• Staking by validators in the DVN to support LayerZero v2-based verification
• Governance participation within the Omni X DAO, allowing token holders to vote on proposals
• Incentive distribution, including token airdrops to NFT holders, network participants, and contributors

The token operates on HyperCore and is integrated into smart contracts governing protocol access and user participation.

Omni X was created by the Omni X Foundation, with contributions from the HypurrCollective. It launched in 2024 and began distributing OMNIX on 7 October 2024 through airdrops to holders of specific NFTs and community participants.
