NetMind Token

NMT is the native utility token of the NetMind network. It plays a central role in the operation and coordination of the decentralised compute marketplace. Its primary functions include:

• Payment for compute: Users pay in NMT to run AI training or scientific computing tasks using network-contributed GPUs.

• Incentivising contributors: GPU providers earn NMT in exchange for offering compute resources to the network.

• Staking and validation: Participants may stake NMT for roles such as validators, which support verification and coordination mechanisms.

• Governance: NMT is used to participate in decentralised governance, including protocol upgrades and resource allocation policies.

NMT supports the economic layer of the network, ensuring alignment of incentives between workload issuers, compute providers, and network validators.
