Nodecoin (NC) is the native token of the Nodepay ecosystem. It serves multiple functions, including:

• Network Transactions – Used to pay for services such as data retrieval, AI-specific crawling, and dataset access.
• Staking – Users can stake NC to validator nodes to support network security and earn rewards.
• Governance – NC holders can participate in decision-making, propose changes, and vote on platform improvements.
• Network Fees – All stakeholders are compensated in NC, with revenues from Nodepay services converted into NC and distributed to participants.
• Security – Validators must stake NC to ensure compliance with network protocols, and penalties (slashing) apply for malicious behaviour.
