About Metronome
Although 'MET' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Metronome Token's smart contract, it is also in use by another asset with a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. To avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'METRONV1' has been adopted for this token. This designation ensures that assets are distinctly identified.
Metronome released in December 2017, is a cross-chain DeFi token.
On Aug 23, 2022, the Metronome 2.0 (MET 2.0) contract launched. This migration aimed open the door for new development opportunities and new ways for the community to engage. The purpose and goal for MET 2.0 is to (1) add significant features, security enhancements, functionality and DeFi composability, and (2) to create a new MET DAO governed by the Metronome community that will shape the continued development and expansion of the Metronome ecosystem.
