MetaDoge V1

MetaDoge V1 was designed to provide utility across multiple areas, primarily focusing on NFTs, staking, and community incentives. Key use cases included:

• NFT Collection and Staking: MetaDoge V1 enabled users to acquire and stake NFTs to earn passive rewards. NFTs had varying levels of rarity, which influenced staking returns, encouraging users to collect higher-rarity assets.

• NFT Rarity Levels: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary NFTs. Higher rarity NFTs provided increased staking yields.

• NFT Marketplace: An integrated marketplace allowed users to buy, sell, and trade MetaDoge V1 NFTs. This marketplace supported a decentralised approach to NFT ownership and trading, promoting user-driven price discovery.

• Game Integration: MetaDoge V1 introduced the concept of integrating NFT-based characters and in-game items, serving as the initial step towards the metaverse game fully realised in MetaDoge V2.

• Community Engagement and Loyalty Rewards: Early adopters and community members were rewarded for their activity, such as holding tokens, promoting the project, and engaging in community events. Loyalty programmes and leaderboard systems incentivised user participation.

• Tokenomics and Buy/Sell Taxes: MetaDoge V1 introduced buy and sell taxes, with a portion of fees allocated to marketing, liquidity provision, and staking rewards. This model supported sustainable growth and liquidity within the platform.

• Launchpad for Future Developments: MetaDoge V1 set the stage for MetaDoge V2, providing the foundation for further development. The lessons learned from V1 informed the design and structure of V2, including improved staking mechanisms, cross-chain bridges, and enhanced metaverse integration.

The development and management of MetaDoge V1 were undertaken by an international team with diverse expertise, many of whom remained involved in the transition to MetaDoge V2. Key team members included:

Although 'METADOGE' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the MetaDoge token's smart contract, it is already in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this pre-existing association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'METADOGEV1' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
