MAX is the governance and utility token of the Matr1x platform, serving several functions:

• Governance: MAX holders can participate in decision-making processes, including voting on platform developments and community initiatives.

• Staking and Rewards: Users can stake MAX tokens to earn rewards and contribute to the network's security.

• Ecosystem Participation: MAX tokens grant access to platform features such as game publishing, esports club participation, and community events.

• Launchpool and Airdrops: Holders can engage in the Matr1x Launchpool and are eligible for airdrops from other projects within the ecosystem.

• In-Game Transactions: MAX is utilized for various in-game activities, including upgrading items and accessing premium content.

Additionally, locking MAX tokens generates ve-MAX, which provides enhanced governance rights and access to exclusive platform features.

Although 'MAX' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Matr1x token's smart contract, it is in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'MATR1X' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
