Forgotten Playland

The FP token is intended solely for use within the Forgotten Playland game environment. Its main functions are:

• Cosmetic Purchases: FP can be used to acquire cosmetic items such as individual traits (e.g. eyes, accessories, backgrounds) or full avatar sets, enabling players to personalise their PlushKyn characters.

• Toy Boxes: FP tokens allow the purchase of Toy Boxes, which provide randomly assorted cosmetic items. These boxes follow rarity tiers, adding an element of collection and strategy to item acquisition.

• Tournament Access: Players can use FP to obtain PlushKyn Battle Tickets, which are required to enter scheduled competitive events. These tournaments offer FP rewards to top-performing players, thereby supporting a play-to-earn model within a controlled game economy.

• Game Store Economy: As the platform evolves, FP will underpin broader marketplace activities, including direct purchases and potentially peer-to-peer trading of digital items.

Forgotten Playland is developed by Vermilion Studios, a collaboration between Merit Circle DAO and Duckland Games. Duckland Games is led by Zico Bakker, co-founder and head of production, who has over 30 years of experience in the AAA gaming industry, including roles at EA and Ubisoft. Will Davis also serves as studio head at Duckland Games, contributing his extensive experience in game development.

Merit Circle DAO is represented by Marco van den Heuvel, Chief Gaming Officer, who plays a key role in co-developing the game and providing strategic and financial support. The partnership combines traditional game development expertise with the technical innovation of blockchain-based ecosystems.

The project is backed by investors such as The Spartan Group, C² Ventures and Paper Ventures, reflecting its aim to grow a sustainable Web3 gaming platform.
