FDC is used as the in-app token for actions tied to ordering and delivery, including:

• Paying for orders placed through the application.
• Locking funds in the smart contract once an order is confirmed then releasing payment after delivery is confirmed in the app.
• Supporting refunds when an order is refused due to quality or quantity not matching what was declared, including compensation for wasted time as described in the app flow.
• Paying delivery people through automatic in-app payments.
• Paying at partner restaurants and shops that accept the token.
• Exchanging tokens into a user’s local currency, as described for customers, delivery people and merchants.
• Buying the token through the application’s personal account area.
• Trading the token on cryptocurrency exchanges, as described for users who choose to do so.

FooDriver also includes a delivery themed game. Players complete deliveries in the game to earn “FDC points” which are an in-game score used for profiles, leaderboards and in-game items. The game also includes tournaments with prizes paid in FDC.
