About DOC.COM

Doc.com (MTC) is a blockchain-powered telemedicine platform aiming to provide universal access to basic healthcare services. It uses the MTC token, an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, to facilitate various healthcare services through its apps doc.com Health and doc.com Emotions. These apps offer free 24/7 telemedicine and telepsychology consultations, storing patient data securely and anonymously on the blockchain. The platform rewards users with MTC tokens for engaging in health-related activities and provides a secure, low-cost way to manage and access medical data. Doc.com has partnered with organizations like the United Nations to expand its services globally, particularly in developing regions such as Eastern Africa. The company, co-founded by Charles Nader and Isao Hojyo Uehara, operates primarily in Mexico and the U.S., with a team experienced in healthcare, IT, and blockchain.

Doc.com's platform offers two primary services through its mobile apps: doc.com Health and doc.com Emotions. The doc.com Health app provides free 24/7 telemedicine services, allowing users to consult with doctors via video calls. The doc.com Emotions app offers telepsychology services, catering to mental health needs. Both applications store health data securely and anonymously on the blockchain, allowing patients to access their medical records easily and safely.

The MTC token is integral to this ecosystem, rewarding users for participating in health-related activities, such as consultations or surveys. Users can spend these tokens within the platform to access additional services or products. Furthermore, the data collected through the platform, which remains anonymous, can be used for medical research and other scientific purposes. Blockchain's role ensures data transparency, security, and lower costs for managing medical records, while also enabling international payments seamlessly within the platform.

Doc.com was co-founded by Charles Nader, who serves as the CEO, and Isao Hojyo Uehara, who is the COO. The company originated from Sidrese SA de CV, founded by Nader in 2012. The team behind Doc.com comprises over 30 professionals with backgrounds in IT, hospital management, pharmaceutical industries, emergency care, clinical research, and legal and regulatory fields. The core operations are based in Mexico and the United States. Doc.com has also formed strategic partnerships, including a notable collaboration with the United Nations to expand its telemedicine and telepsychology services across Eastern Africa.

Although 'MTC' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the DOC.COM Token's smart contract, it is already in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this pre-existing association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'DOCCOM' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
