About Berachain Staked ETH
Berachain Staked ETH (BERAETH) is a liquid staking token created by Dinero on the Berachain network. It represents staked ETH while retaining liquidity, allowing users to earn rewards and engage in DeFi applications without locking their assets.
BERAETH is used to provide liquidity and secure the Berachain network through its Proof of Liquidity (PoL) consensus mechanism. Holders can utilize BERAETH in DeFi protocols for lending, borrowing, or trading, all while earning staking rewards. The token makes staked ETH more accessible for additional on-chain activities.
When users stake ETH through Dinero, they receive BERAETH tokens, which represent their staked assets. The ETH is then used to help validate transactions and maintain network security. As the network generates staking rewards, BERAETH increases in value relative to ETH, ensuring that users continue to benefit from their staked assets.
BERAETH was developed by Dinero Finance to support the Berachain network's staking infrastructure. Dinero provides the liquid staking service, while Berachain's team focuses on developing the core blockchain infrastructure and its PoL mechanism.
