Yield Guild Games (YGG) is the native token of the Guild Protocol and is used to activate, access, and participate in the network’s onchain coordination systems. It enables token-based interaction with protocol features, supports governance, and aligns incentives across community members and partner projects.
YGG is used to:
- Burn tokens to create Onchain Guilds and mint access passes
- Stake for access to reward programmes and participation boosts
- Distribute rewards and incentives to protocol participants
- Engage in governance and guild-level decision-making
- Facilitate partnerships by exchanging tokens for community assets
The token operates within a framework that includes direct participation, long-term staking, and integration into activity-based reward systems. A significant share of the token allocation is reserved for community engagement and contributor rewards.
