USD CoinVertible

USD CoinVertible (USDCV) is a US dollar-denominated stablecoin issued by SG-FORGE. It is designed to offer a regulated digital equivalent of USD, backed 1:1 by reserves held in accounts at BNY Mellon. USDCV supports institutional use cases across finance, payments, and digital infrastructure.

Key use cases include:

• Cross-border payments, with near-instant settlement.
• Real-time FX operations, especially when paired with EURCV.
• After-hours settlement, enabled by blockchain’s 24/7 availability.
• Digital payments for tokenised assets and on-chain applications.
• Stable-value holding in USD for portfolio risk management.
• Integration with DeFi, enabling lending, collateralisation, and liquidity provision.
• Execution of smart contracts requiring USD-denominated value.

Institutions onboarded with SG-FORGE can acquire USDCV by transferring USD and receiving the equivalent token amount. Redemption is available 1:1 in USD, and all operations are subject to MiCA and SG-FORGE compliance controls.

USDCV was created and is issued by Société Générale–FORGE (SG-FORGE), a fully owned subsidiary of the Société Générale group. Established in March 2020, SG-FORGE is authorised in France to operate as an Electronic Money Institution, an investment firm, and a Digital Asset Service Provider.
