TAKE

Overtake (TAKE) is the native token of the Overtake ecosystem. It functions as the core unit of coordination across all participants and services in the platform. The token is used to govern, incentivise, and facilitate interactions between players, traders, builders, reviewers, and service providers.

TAKE is used to:

• Participate in protocol governance, including parameter adjustment and proposal voting
• Offset or pay platform fees
• Access protocol services that require staking or holding the token
• Distribute incentives to users based on defined activities such as trading, building, and verification

The token is issued according to predefined rules via a mechanism called the Faucet, which distributes tokens based on performance metrics. Token sinks such as utility payments and staking requirements regulate its circulation.
