SOMESING

SSG is the revamped governance and utility token of the Somesing ecosystem. It replaced the earlier token known as SSX. The transition was prompted by a security incident in January 2024 that targeted SSX. To protect user assets and reinforce security, the Somesing team issued SSG on a fresh smart contract and required all SSX holders to migrate via a token swap.

The migration took place at a rate of one SSG for each SSX token. A snapshot of SSX balances was recorded on March 28, 2024, at 06:00 UTC. Before that moment, SSX transactions and contracts were suspended to prevent transfers. After the migration, only SSG held value and transferability within the system.
