SOON Token

The SOON Token serves multiple functions within the ecosystem:

• Governance: Holders can participate in decision-making processes, including protocol upgrades, treasury management, and ecosystem development initiatives.

• Native Asset: Used for transaction fees and as the primary medium of exchange across SOON Mainnet and SOON Stack chains.

• Incentives: Rewards developers and contributors through grants and performance-based incentives to foster innovation and growth within the ecosystem.

• Staking: Validators stake SOON tokens to secure the network's fast-finality settlement mechanism, earning annual rewards, including a 3% token incentive.

The SOON project was founded by a team with extensive experience in blockchain technology and traditional finance:

• Joanna Zeng – Co-founder and CEO. Formerly held leadership roles at Aleo, Optimism, and Coinbase, with a background in traditional finance at institutions like Citigroup and BNP Paribas.

• Andrew Zhou – Co-founder and CTO. A seasoned developer with expertise in Rust and Golang, and experience in developing Solana clients.

• Rachel Chu – Co-founder. Specializes in cross-chain technology and community building.

• Ruki Hu – Chief Marketing Officer. Brings experience from top investment banks in Hong Kong, focusing on strategic marketing initiatives.

• Frank Miao – Head of Ecosystem. Oversees partnerships, developer grants, and third-party integrations to enhance the ecosystem.

• Nazreen Mohamad – Head of Developer Relations. Collaborates with regional communities, such as Superteam Malaysia, to support developers building on the SOON platform.

The project is also supported by advisors from prominent organizations, including Lily Liu (President of the Solana Foundation) and Mustafa Al-Bassam (Co-founder of Celestia Labs).
