Frax Staked Ether (sfrxETH) is a liquid staking derivative token developed by Frax Finance, representing staked ETH and accruing staking rewards over time. Operating as an ERC-4626-compliant vault token, sfrxETH allows users to earn staking yield while maintaining liquidity for participation in various DeFi activities. The protocol is governed by the Frax community through the Frax Share (FXS) token.

sfrxETH serves multiple purposes within the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem:
