About Playermon
Playermon (PYM) is a cryptocurrency token at the heart of the Playermon metaverse. It functions as a governance token, granting holders the right to vote on the game's development. PYM is utilised for in-game transactions such as purchasing genesis eggs, breeding entities, acquiring items for crafting, and enhancing SpaceDens. It is crucial for exploration and expansion in the open-world game, constructing community assets, and trading on the marketplace. Future developments include a DeFi component, allowing holders to stake PYM to earn rewards. The initiative is spearheaded by co-founders Jisheng Tan (CEO), Joseph Leng (CCO), BT Wong, Dato Rayson Wong, with Leong Kee Lim as the CTO.
Playermon (PYM) has a multifaceted role in its ecosystem. It is a governance token, enabling holders to participate in shaping the game's direction through voting. The token is also used for various in-game transactions, such as purchasing genesis eggs of Playermons, breeding Playermons, acquiring items for crafting and building, and upgrading SpaceDens. Additionally, it facilitates participation in open-world planet exploration, expansion of space colonial bases with community-built assets, and listing of originally-designed game assets in the marketplace. In future expansions, PYM will have a decentralised finance (DeFi) component, allowing token holders to stake PYM to earn rewards.
Playermon was created by a team led by co-founders Jisheng Tan (CEO), Joseph Leng (Chief Creative Officer), BT Wong, and Dato Rayson Wong. Leong Kee Lim serves as the Chief Technology Officer of the project.
