About OUSG
OUSG (Ondo Short-Term US Government Bond Fund) is a tokenised representation of a fund primarily invested in short-term U.S. Treasury securities. Created by Ondo Finance, it combines the stability of traditional bonds with the accessibility of blockchain technology.
OUSG is designed for low-risk yield generation, providing stable returns through exposure to U.S. Treasury securities. It offers investors flexibility through instant minting and redemption via blockchain technology, with applications ranging from buy-and-hold cash management to use as collateral in DeFi protocols. The rebasing (rOUSG) version also serves as a yield-bearing means of settlement or exchange.
OUSG was created by Ondo Finance, a platform focused on tokenising traditional financial assets to bridge them with blockchain systems. Ondo Finance emphasises regulatory compliance, ease of access, and transparency in offering financial products to both retail and institutional investors.
