Orbcity

Originally launched as KlayCity, the project evolved significantly, rebranding to OrbCity. During this evolution, the ORB token, which was initially part of the Klaytn blockchain, shifted to the Polygon network. This shift was aimed at utilising the enhanced features and advantages of the Polygon ecosystem.

Central to OrbCity’s metaverse concept is the accumulation of ORB tokens. These tokens are crucial for unlocking new maps and improving districts within the game. A notable characteristic of this system is the annual decrease in ORB production, influenced by the principle of limited resources, thereby adding a sense of scarcity and value to the tokens.

The $ORB Token functions as the governance token within the OrbCity ecosystem. It has diverse uses, including the activation of ecosystem functions, governance operations, and as a resource in conflicts. Importantly, the $ORB Token operates on two blockchain networks: ERC20 and Polygon. As OrbCity continues to develop, there is an intention to broaden the token’s reach across multiple chains, aligning with the project's multi-chain expansion goals.

User engagement in OrbCity is incentivised through the earning of $ORB tokens. Each season, a limited number of these tokens can be earned through various activities and competitions within the ecosystem. To enhance their $ORB token gains, users are encouraged to actively participate in and compete within the OrbCity ecosystem.
