About LONG
LONG is the utility token used in the Belong.net ecosystem, primarily within the Belong CheckIn product for venue check-ins, referrals and settlement. It can be used as a payment option at participating venues, for promoter payouts and within discount or subsidy flows defined by venue configuration. LONG is also used in staking-based fee tier logic that can affect certain operations. The system includes a revenue process where some collected fees may be exchanged into LONG and burned based on configured parameters. LONG is associated with the Belong.net project founded by Jay Jideliov.
Within Belong CheckIn, LONG is used for:
- Customer payments at participating venues as an alternative to paying in the stablecoin used for deposits.
- Discount and subsidy mechanics where paying in LONG can trigger different pricing outcomes depending on venue configuration.
