Governance and Consensus Mechanism

The IXS token is an ERC-20 asset deployed on the Ethereum mainnet, which operates under a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. Ethereum’s PoS network secures transactions, validates smart contracts, and ensures decentralized governance through validator participation. While the IXS token uses Ethereum for settlement and security, the broader IXS Finance ecosystem incorporates Union Chain, a ZKsync-powered Layer 2, for high-throughput, compliant RWA operations.
