About Gods Unchained
GODS is an ERC-20 token created in collaboration with Gods Unchained Corporation, which serves as the native token of the Gods Unchained universe. The token can be used by players to craft NFTs, buy packs from the Gods Unchained marketplace, and earn additional rewards by holding the tokens in Immutable X. In addition, holding $GODS tokens gives players voting power to participate in governance proposals that affect the game's future.
Gods Unchained was conceived by the Australian company, Immutable. The game's design was overseen by Chris Clay, former game director of "Magic The Gathering: Arena." Immutable itself was established in 2018 by James Ferguson, Robbie Ferguson, and Alex Connolly.
$GODS is the central ERC-20 token within the Gods Unchained universe. This token serves multiple purposes, from crafting new NFTs and buying Card Packs in the Gods Unchained Marketplace to potential future staking and governance functions. Players can earn $GODS by participating in Ranked Matches or procure them directly from the IMX Marketplace. Designed as the essential in-game currency for Gods Unchained, $GODS tokens differentiate themselves from other gaming tokens by offering staking rewards and a wide array of utilities, like voting, staking, minting new NFTs, purchasing packs, and accessing exclusive game modes or events.
