The FP token serves multiple purposes within the Fren Pet ecosystem. Firstly, it acts as a currency for in-game transactions, with a portion of tokens used within the game being burned and a portion being allocated to referrals. This system not only encourages player engagement through rewards based on in-game scores but also incentivizes the growth of the game’s community through referral bonuses. A unique feature of the game’s economy is a 5% tax imposed on buying or selling FP tokens on BaseSwap. This tax is used to fund player rewards, support the development team, and add liquidity to the FP economy. The distribution of player rewards is based on each player's proportion of the total in-game score.

Although 'FP' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Fren Pet Token's smart contract, it is also in use by another asset with a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. To avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'FRENPET' has been adopted for this token. This designation ensures that assets are distinctly identified.
