Epic Chain

EPIC serves multiple functions within the Epic Chain ecosystem:

• Transaction Utility: EPIC enables gasless transactions through account abstraction, eliminating the need for users to hold ETH for fees on most network functions.

• Governance: Token holders can participate in the protocol’s decentralised governance model, voting on proposals and decisions that influence the network’s development.

• Staking and Rewards: EPIC can be staked to earn rewards in other ERC-20 tokens and special in-platform assets called “stones,” which can be used to redeem items within the Epic Chain ecosystem.

• Carbon Offset Contributions: A portion of EPIC trading volume is allocated to initiatives aimed at offsetting the blockchain’s carbon emissions.

Additionally, EPIC is central to the creator tools built into Epic Chain, which allow users to launch digital collectibles, social tokens, and gated experiences using EPIC as a payment and functional layer.
