About Energy Ledger
Energy Ledger Inc. seeks to make ELX the standard software development platform for energy value trade on the blockchain. The goal and intent of creating this generalized crypto commodity are to create a cryptocurrency that can be utilized by the energy industry to manage oil containers and to incentivize the long term storage of crude oil through investment in the ecosystem.
Although 'ELX' was the ticker assigned at the deployment of the Energy Ledger Token's smart contract, it is already in use by another asset that has a larger market presence and higher trading volume on major exchanges. Due to this pre-existing association and to avoid confusion in the marketplace, the alternative ticker 'ENERGYLEDGER' has been adopted for this token. This designation is specifically used to ensure that assets are distinctly identified.
