About Everclear
Everclear (CLEAR) is a blockchain interoperability protocol that coordinates global liquidity settlement between chains, aiming to resolve fragmentation in modular blockchains. The CLEAR token is utilized for governance and incentivizing participants within the ecosystem.
The native token, CLEAR, serves multiple functions within the Everclear ecosystem:
- Governance: CLEAR token holders participate in the decentralized governance structure, influencing protocol upgrades and decision-making processes.
- Incentives: The protocol's vote-bonding system incentivizes solvers who contribute to the protocol's overall volume and includes a fee-sharing mechanism to reward all stakers for their governance participation.
Everclear was co-founded by Arjun Bhuptani, Rahul Sethuram, and Layne Haber. The team, one of the first to work on L2 research, has been focused on improving the user experience of Ethereum and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
