Brickken's BKN token has several applications, primarily in the realm of asset tokenization. This process involves converting rights to an asset - be it real estate, startups, equity, or debt - into a digital token on a blockchain. The tokenization of equity allows for the digitization of company shares or equity, democratizing investment opportunities and improving liquidity. Debt tokenization transforms the mechanisms of borrowing and lending, enhancing accessibility and simplifying debt management. Additionally, Brickken enables the tokenization of profit-sharing arrangements, streamlining how companies distribute gains and maintain regulatory compliance.
Brickken was founded in July 2020. The team, known as the "Brickkeneers," includes Edwin Mata as CEO and Co-Founder, Yassir Haouati as COO and Co-Founder, and several other key figures such as Bram Duindam (CMO & Co-Founder), Ludovico Rossi (CRO), Felipe D'Onofrio (CTO), Pedro Sandoval (CFO), and Dario Lo Buglio (Co-Founder, Head of Blockchain).
